Joshua Kaufmann— Assistant to the General Manager
Joshua Kaufmann currently serves as an Assistant to the General Manager at Tianjin Lanxiu Horticulture Co., supporting GM Miao Dinglong in international trade operations.
He possesses a diverse professional background. Since August 2024, he has been working as a Drama and Visual Arts Teacher at Tsinghua University High School International Department in Haidian District, Beijing. Prior to this (August 2022 to July 2024), he served as a Drama Teacher and Homeroom Advisor at Beijing Haidian Daoxianghu School (formerly Tsinghua Affiliated Daoxianghu School).
Joshua Kaufmann is also deeply committed to philanthropic causes. Between September 2014 and October 2016, he volunteered at Shepherd’s Field Children’s Village in Tianjin, China (a charitable institution under the U.S.-based Philip Hayden Foundation). During this period, he produced advocacy videos to raise awareness and care for orphans, and initiated and managed email and social media campaigns to help children reconnect with their biological parents.
Academically, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University in Virginia, USA (studies commenced August 2010, degree conferred September 2017). His educational journey featured a distinctive pause in studies to gain work experience before ultimately completing his degree.
Regarding language proficiency, English is his native language, while he has achieved intermediate-level competency in Mandarin Chinese.
